All ICOM from China A1
The firmware version is determined by the ICOM serial number, in China they are all the same 1120134. To change ICOM2, you need to change the serial number in 24c02 to the serial number from the range 1801201, and then restore the ICOM  from the restore.bin

Do not use serial numbers like 1111111, after restoration you will get a brick!!

I dont have this pcb. But by doing this do you think it wil work with my e64 ? Because actualy is not work with my car but with other serie like the F.

My message is not the way to fix your problems. This solution is for multiple ICOM to work on the same network and there are no fan errors.

regarding my problem is a way to fix that ? work on F series but not on my E64 LCI (it even dont read the vin of my car..)

or its for trash ?

Hi. You must replace the VP234 IC with the original VP234. China uses the clone of this IC. I have the same problem with facelift e9x, e6x ... Before facelift models, old models (e36) and F models work well. Now work everything. I have china ICOM NEXT. How to replace? If you can't work with hot air solder, don't try it yourself!

But this ic is blanc right ? Not programed.

How it can work if i solder it lile that whout programing that one ?

Sorry for the question but i make in past some electronics and never solder an ic without program it. It look like an eeprom right ?

It is only transceiver IC! Signal interface, not a controller IC. smile
