Transmission unit latest firmware.
Transmission Information:
Audi Q5 2009 transmission firmware 8R0927156AB 0011 Can I update the above firmware to the following newer firmware: FL_8R2927156B__0005.frf Parts diagram says that my control unit 8R0927156AB was replaced in later years with 8R2927156B. Any ideas? If you like my post press

I am waiting for a vas5054a in about 20 days. No battery charger unless engine running would be ok. Let me know. Otherwise dealer visit might be a better option.
Update Never used. Vas5054a has fake chips which need to be repaired. If you like my post press

I flashed from 8R0927156AB 0010 to 0011. Better shift from 2 to 1.
I did not flash to 8R2927156B. Not sure 100%. VCP is the best tool for flashing, less than 10 mins, maybe 7-8. I used to flash without battery charger with engine on, but then I purchased some battery chargers one of which burned on first use. If you like my post press
