ISTA-P with ENET cable and ISTA-P loader safe to use?
Hi
Is it safe to use ISTA-P with ENET cable and ISTA-P loader (icom emulator) to code & program the car? I have tried to start ISTA-P, and it calculated a measures plan for my car.. But I did not dare to execute the plan.. Or should I buy a Icom A2 Clone instead and use that with ISTA-P? Thanks! |

Do I need any dhcp server or is it enough to just activate icom emulator and run measurement plan?
Thanks! |

Do not use for ISTA P programming in F series
although you are programming modules This ISTA P requires 1) FSC codes 2) ista P will do it in parallel mode (ie all drivers at the same time) This will increase the demand for energy within even (temporarily) around 80A-100A, If you do not have such a charger then you will destroy almost all the drivers, At some point, everything will turn itself on lights, wipers, pumps, etc. (note ESYS also program in parallel mode) As most of us will say, programming is best done in ESYS Fserii ISTA P only ICOM with DHCP modem, preferably also with the BMW OSS access If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button!

Always using Ista/P and preffer this solution for programing rather than esys
just for retrofiting using always esys Never had any issue with it For F series 70A enough even 50A is good |
