Solved.disabled vmware adapers from the network settings as freddy suggested and problem solved.

Hi friends, I had ISTA-D working properly on my win 10 pro 64 bit but it has stopped working all of sudden.I am suspecting something has happened or got changed after my win10 took major update.I am not able to connect using wifi.I havent tried it connecting straight via ethernet.
Its not my icom because i can connect it via wifi using tool32 and icom on the same laptop.Its just ISTA-D not working.I tried to use my friends laptop via same router and ista-D is working fine.Its something on my laptop.
When i try to start it,ISTA-D sees icom but after selecting icom ,it gives error.Please see the attached pics.KL15 is showing 0v because my ignition was off and turning ignition on didn't make any difference.
Itool radar is seeing my icom properly.

I had similar issue sometime ago. The only way to solve it was uninstall everything and install again. Don’t know if it’s the only way but solved my problem.

Thanks for your reply.Do you mean even reinstalling Windows too?I have tried reinstalling ISTA but it didn't work.But I haven't tried reinstalling framework.

I was not talking about Windows. Just ISTA-D, BMW Standard Tools, drivers, ...

I think if you are using icom then ISTA does't need bmw standard tools or any drivers.If using kcan cable then i think it needs drivers.But i am not too sure.will try to reinstall again.Thanks

On my case it worked well on Fxx cars, but didn’t work with Exx. At least on E60, E61 and E91... I don’t have icom, only Kd can and enet cables.

If you have virtual machine installed dissable the virtual net adapters before trying to connect with wi-fi. I had the same issue. This is the way i found to solve the problem after a win 10 update.

Yes I have VM tools installed.Will try to disable as you mentioned and will report back.

No, the same thing will happen again if you re-install vm. i tried different versions of vm newer, older but the same always.
