RE: BMW E90 Torque&Power Display
You can code it to switch on, but it will not work, because there is no source of data for it.

That' too bad I think that f30 2.0d (184Hp) has the same DDE as e90 2.0d (184Hp). Which ECU is reading that information needed for sports display to work properly? Thank you. |

Enabling Feature in CIC is one thing... The clue is to activate data transmission inside of DDE If you can find the sw switch inside of calibration data in DDE, then it will work. |

RE: BMW E90 Torque&Power Display
Simply upgrade to NBT , you get many nice things + the sport display no matter which engine or series you have.
it has nothing to do with coding , no matter what you do with coding you will never get it to work in factory E-series , even in F-series with factory CIC it only supports few engine models, many people tried activating sport display in Fxx with no luck , this info has nothing to do with sport display but , E9x N47N engine uses EDC17_C41 DDE , while F3x N47N engine uses EDC17_C56 DDE |

RE: BMW E90 Torque&Power Display
NBT navi is preety expensive. I thought that it could be activated only by coding the right ecu. Thanks

When i retrofitted CIC few months back i paid like $900 for all things including cables and idrive controller (+A/C panel trim although i have LCI) Checking now the NBT has around the same price. Only problem is the CAN bridge/emulator which as of now is not so cheap. |
