Installed 2015 NV200 motor/tranny in a 2013 NV200. TCM question
I have a 2013 NV200 cargo van that needed a new motor. I found a complete motor and transmission that came out of a 2015 model. The only difference is the transmission was different style. I installed the new motor and tranny and all the wire harness matched up fine. When I hook the battery up, the running lights come on thinking the van is driving down the road. When I put the key into the ignition and turn it on position the lights will go off. The fuel pump will never start so fuel will never get to motor. It will crank over if I try. Turned off and key out the lights come back on and stay on. I installed the original ECM and same issue so it didn't matter if I had the 2013 or 2015 ECM. I went to the TCM which I only have the 2013 as they did not provide me with the 2015 TCM and unplugged it. The lights go out when it is unplugged. So, I'm guessing my original TCM will not work with the different transmission and so it's messing up the system? I'm reading all about having to re-program these by spending lots of money for software and a pass through device and reprogramming these units. Not 100% sure this is what is needed and before I go spend money on software and waste money need advice. I looked on nissan site https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/J2534.aspx to lookup files for the unit and having trouble. The TCM I have has part#310363LM1A which I can find that on the Techinfo site but I can't find a part# for TCM for the 2015. Do they use the same TCM#? I'm confused into this and I thought these TCM's could be used for different cars and just re-programmed to whatever. Anyways, need help to figure out what I need to do and what I have to buy to get this working.

Flood vehicle? Since you said the vehicle only needed a motor and you have next to no diagnostic tools/experience, just put the original transmission back in. You created a giant cluster-fuck when you swapped a completely different trans/TCM. No amount of reprogramming is going to change hardware/software incompatibility.
