I have some serious issue with udpate from 6.24.2+K942 to 6.25.3+K942.
As i said earlier when i put the card with new maps 6.25.3 in Engineering menu the update takes a max of 5 minutes.
Evidently the installation is not complete.
You told me I should do User Defined Update. I tried.
I turned it on in the green menu but during the installation I can`t mark anything.
I also put the FW K942 card. Some parts have been updated but nothing has changed with instaling the new maps.
Of course I deleted nav/hdd partition and nav/database before everything.

Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this

You have to select all categories of AUDI_MMI3G_ECE category.

For those who are struggling to install the new maps with the Audi MMI3G ECE folder? and I can not install the maps, there are two ways to solve this problem
1: uninstall the activator before with Uninstall Keldo's activator from MMI)

2 click the green menu (hidden menu) enter the SWDL and check the User Defined Mode box then press the radio button to go to the update menu and choose User Defined not Standart go to the Audi MMI3G ECE folder? click on it and set all the folders there with Y

I tried to install EU 943 software to US car (MMI 3GP). I tried few times with two different SD cards but still have error 138 in installing containers from folder "sss" ex. "tts_en_SA", "tts_pl_PL". Option Retry not help. I can only skip this container or cancel update. Do you have any ideas how to solve problem?

Don't even try, You need vagcanpro cable and change languages in eeprom of navi device before conversion to eu firmware or You will loose all text on display

I lost all text on display after update but next i changed eeprom and now I have normal fonts on MMI.

Problem is that I can't install firmware correctly as I wrote in my previous post and I don't know why.
I realised that files from folder "sss" ex. "tts_en_SA", "tts_pl_PL" are responsible for navigation speech so they are important. How to install that?

I would try to tick ignore region and variant and force emergency update ... btw.AFAIK still isn´t newer fw than K0942 and other question is if this version is for the right MU (main unit). And tts is for text to speech ...

My mistake - I have 942 (not 943). I tried to install K900 - same error. I also tried use emergency update but this not help.

Thanks for this new release.

Can someone help me, i have an Audi A8L 2011 with RSE and since last time i updated the previous maps (SW HN+R_EU_AU_K0942 & Maps V 6.24.2) my navigation in the RSE unit its not working anymore, it says data is not compatible when i want to access it.

   

Can someone tell what am i missing here, do i need a special version for the RSE? I did the update properly, starting with the front mmi unit, after it asked me to move the sd card to the rse unit did so, updated everything... asked me to put it back in the front mmi updated what was left ... but at the end... still not working.

Its just the navigation on rse that's not working, the rest works properly on the rse unit.

And on the front MMI unit also everything works properly.

are the exFat formated card good for map update or must be FAT32 formated card ?
