I purchased a 2017 Audi Q7 4M but without the ASI. Can I retrofit the android auto ? And can someone help me to do it remotely? of course i am wiling to pay for the service. Thanks.

Goto your local dealer, and tell them to purchase the part 4M0051472, it's just an Activation document for retrofitting ASI

Maybe will work fine for a 2017 model, but I have a MY16 4M and it's build date is before the activation document. So I would also like to know if anyone can still activate ASI remotely? $$

Notes for retrofitting to Audi Q7 (from 2016) and Audi Q7 e-tron (from 2016):
- The retrofitting of the Audi smartphone interface is only available for models with a production date from 17/08/2015
- Only in combination with MMI navigation plus

Second way: Request activation from SRT can-connect. They might be able to add this activation to their program.(in case they did not). They will reply within a day.

Third way would be a new VCP OCF parameter.

Also interested in this, I have acquired the document in question, but Audi were unable to activate this. Anybody that can remote code this?
