Can adblue cause a non start on a DAF XF105? the truck is not starting and only start with quick start and when it start the performance is very bad, the truck run out of adblue and the driver was still using it until it quit. now its not starting at all, we try to add a gallon of adblue and the gauge is pointing to full but on a diagnostic its empty, the pump is not pumping and no dosing. there is no any faults in the engine apart from those of adblue. the owner claimed that adblue was deactivated but i doubt.

still having problems with this Daf please advise way forward

hi, you have a diagnosis by autocom, you can clearly see what the problem is. It is very easy to check the electrical lines to the ad bleu liquid level sensor, pressure line air lines, the sensor before the catalytic converter and after the catalyst, check the ad bleu filter. You can do ad blu testing with AUTOCOM. go to the ad blues section, outline errors, go to setup and activation and do a test ad blu system, you have 5 tests to perform the first 4 tests and everything will be clear to you. This is a better way than changing the software on / off ad blu system. Spend a few hours in system overview and you will have results. Hello

if your daf have adblue emu, try remove adblue fuses and see try do diagnostic. sometimes been that auto have emu and driver take good fuse to adblue system and so more error.
