Hello,

can somebody tell me why i cannot put the mod file in 2 cars what are the exatly the same

its a BMW e46 320 110KW bosch edc16c31

the MOD file what i have its possible to put in the car where i have read the ORI 1 file

but if i try to put the MOD file in the car where i have read the ORI 2 file

its not possible

can somebody tell me why

i have attach the mod and the 2 ori files

You're in luck that you didn't bricked the ecu while trying to flash a wrong file.. if the cars have same engine/hp it doesn't mean the ecu hardware and software versions are identical, the HW and Sw that you read have to be the same for both cars in order to work.

i have see the same car,year and the same ecu it was nothing different

they are not same ecu, hw ans sw not same, sometimes it can work for some models but it is better not to try

Checking the tune in winols it cannot be applied to the new ecu software so the guys are 100% right

not that I ever doubted them
