XZBMW  Programming fails on a "EKB945 DME" with Ista-P
HI all.
a few days ago ive tried to flash a EKB945 DME on a 2004 BMW 116i.
everything went ok until about 16% and then ista-p came up with this error:
(global vehicle communication coapi 2084, sys 008 job not found, job identification in groupfile not ok, flash identification ediabas98.

ive tried several times to program again with ista-p but didnt worked.
then i triedseveral times to flash with WINkfp but that also didnt worked.
you can see the screenshots in the pics.

Ista-P says the Dme needs to be replaced so i bought a new one and tried to program it with ista-p. i was shocked when the same fault occurred againcrying.

when programming the new one ista ask for the programmed dme part number and ive tried all the numbers on the new and the old dme. also the number given from etk.

ista accepted the numbers but programming keeps resulting in failure....

can someone please tell me what to do because i ran out of luck and ideas for now.

RE: Programming fails on a "EKB945 DME" with Ista-P
Question:
Are there any additional devices installed in the BMW,
gas controller,
not a factory alarm,
such a device can stab
communications and discontinue programming,
there may also be a problem with JBE,
short circuit on the CAN bus,
operation on only one CAN line
damaged wires,
It's best to get out in this situation
DME paza car
and connect on the table,
to dme is required
JBE and CAS with key (for KL15)
and it can do winkfpt programming
I apologize for poor English

If there is communication with DME you can always flash with winkfp, its just a matter of picking the correct files.

And when you install a new one you mean factory new virgin? than istaP never may ask for partnumber.

Thanks for helping,

yes i mean factory virgin new one.
Ista-P ask for a part number, (only with the new one!) i've had that before with a Z4. i've tried to enter different partnumbers and that worked for me at the time but now the error keeps coming back.

tomorrow i will trie another (old)icom. i'm using a Original icom next now.

@ jeroenbmw, can you tell me what file i need to choose based on my given info?

As it says "sys 008 job not found, job identification in groupfile not ok" I believe your ISTA-P installation to be broken. Not a problem with ICOM or anything else.

If you use WinKFP with the files from the same ISTA-P, then you naturally get the same mistake. Reinstall ISTA-P or get full daten files from somewhere else.
