Hi there guys, i am having trouble removing speed limit restriction on my NTG 2.5 retroffited to a 2005 slk r171.I was willing to pay for the solution that guys from dvdinmotion have but they told me that their solution couldn t work on retrofitted cars,don t know why.
I can't figure out what's changed between early SLK R171 and facelift SLK R171 because NTG 2.5 is fully functional on my car.More importantly, I think that speed limit can be patched directly to Win CE system from COMAND APS,i don't know why they re saying retrofitted cars won't work,I already know that VIN isn't relevant at removing restriction,even they say it does.A guy from another forum shared the files he received from them and we where able to take a look.
I think that best approach is to compare NK.bin before and after restriction removal, we have here guys that are more at ease with disassembly that I am, maybe we can donate, pay for a solution.
