I have bought new lexia xs evolution after I installed the software diag until version 7.57 when I connect lexia it reads vin , airbag , abs but not the ecu or the automatic gearbox ( tried it with 2 cars tested by me before with my previous lexia Peugeot 406 2001 , 607 1998 )

Try with 7.01 or grater then 7.57

Hello mate, did you solve it ? I have similar problem with 7.57 have communication error with engine ecu, ecu type Med17.4. All other module it read.

Hi Denis, your problem is different to the one from op. Yours is CAN while others are K-line. If the two K-line cars above are with no comm to engine ECU and gearbox that's the VCI K-line problem because the comm channel (the wires) to engine ECU and gearbox are usually tied together (if the two ECU's are not using same protocol e.g. different brand, Bosch to engine and Siemens to gearbox for example). But yours is CAN which is completely different technology !
