Please let me know. I just bought new one oryginal ICOM NEXT A from BMW Shop. Probably i have to write fresh latest firmware. I can`t see it on ACTIA website. So should i write firmware come from your standalone ISTA/D/P pack ? I see there is 3.15.00 for NEXT A version.

Let me know also may I use Ista D for this update also ? As far I know is possibility but i never use this way.

Yes update ICOM/NEXT through ISTA-D is possible.
U need correct reg entries and files of firmware in correct place.
Check version in web interface. The last one is 3.15.00.

Charger don't help. But necessary.
Check firmware version in web interface. Must be 3.15.00 or 3.15.02.

Indeed!! My earlier update was not successful for some reason. Updated the ICOM yesterday and this time it was good. Today ill test it again. By the way I used the custom icom firmware. What is the original icom firmware in your files.

Because I don`t know what you are talking about -> "U need correct reg entries and files of firmware in correct place." I will do this via WWW as I have done before with my Clone A1 A2.

But I`m confused.

For 3.15.2 ICOM A1-A2 I had .bin files.
Now i want to do this on new oryginal NEXT A and i see there are .tar.gz files not .bin
ICOM_Next-app-010100.tar.gz and ICOM_Next-rootfs-010100.tar.gz

Should i select for upgrade this .tar.gz ?

Look at first what version ICOM. Maybe U don't need to update it.
