Do you get message in Ista firmware update? What is now your Icom firmware.

Nope, am on ICOM 3.15 firmware. Everything works except programming. It must be a quirk in ISTA 4.09. Will try ISTA 4.08 on another laptop with same ICOM and see.

And.....ISTAP on the same laptop, same computer works flawlessly!! Strange because I thought ISTA+ was simply ISTAD with ISTAP built in. Cant get my head around this. Got to be one configuration file that has a conflict with something on my laptop. Incidentally I upgraded to a newer icom clone. I will try the older ICOM and report back.
