NBT EVO and NBT regular - CID cable differences
Hi Guys,
I have retrofitted NBT EVO in my F10 2015. I don't have regular NBT CID cable but original NBT EVO CID cable. This cable works perfect with original NBT EVO CID, but I want to install my 10.25" F10 NBT, so I installed voltage converter and connected to NBT CID but screen doesn't show anything. So my question is wheter there are any differences in pinout between original NBT cable and original NBT EVO cable? Thanks. |

Already mentioned in your other request. Double post won't increase the reply chances.

Hi,
Make sure you've coded the NBT EVO with these parameters CID_APIX_MODE - apix1 CID_COLOR_DEPTH - 18 CID_COM_MODE - spi CID_RESOLUTION - 1280 x 480 Hope this helps. |

RE: NBT EVO and NBT regular - CID cable differences
Thank you, it helped.
Still few things need to be solved: 1) Screen blinks for 10 minutes and then all is working fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reKqyTdN37g 2) HUD doesn't work. Anyone know why? What needs to be coded? 3) I have also Driving ASSISTANT PLUS, FCW and pedestraian warning, it also doesn't show on EVO screen when turning it on. Can I load some XML from F30 with NBT EVO factory equipped? Can anyone send me this file with proper VO codes? Thank you. |

EVO was/is never a factory installed option for F10/F11 so therefor PSDZdata can't map its FDLs accordingly. You must use a F06 FA to code your EVO since it uses pretty much the same FDLs as F10/F11 dependant on VO options. F06 does have EVO in it's list of options on newer production cars. F30 FA will give you a completely different set of FDL parameters when VO coding and it will not work well on your F10. Please, Press the Buttons and if you feel that this post helped you!

RE: NBT EVO and NBT regular - CID cable differences
Thanks guys, I will code it using F06 FA. However can you still help me with this issue from the video I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reKqyTdN37g
Screen blinks for 10-15 minutes and then all is working fine, so it looks like there's no illumination at all for some time, but when I there is a daylight I can see that display shows everything, just not illuminated. |

Voltage is wrong
Make sure you set it to 8.4v. |

I have voltage converter installed, but anyway I will measure it. It has to be exactly 8.4V?

Has to be as close as possible, otherwise screen will flicker or turn off. I suspect you probably have something like 7.x v at the moment |
