Hello all
My brother opel has strange problem
When it is cold it start and drive normally after
An hour maybe sometimes less than an hour
It stops running as gear is in neutral
If i turn ignition off then on the won’t crank and F letter appears on dash
Leave it for an hour and a half it will start normally and run normally also for one hour
I put opcom
In transmition no faults and no faults in any module exept

Hello raffy sounds like bcm index is programmed incorrectly as its telling you the number of controllers connected is incorrect if not check can comms wiring

What is best solution
Does need reprogram bcm ? If yes do you think thats the problem
Lets keep the can wire to the end

Is this original bcm ? have you changed any code index on bcm ?

Go on bcm then on variant programming and check what is programmed there check abs is present on settings and check what code index is programmed

When the car don't start at that time can you communicate with the Engine ECU............? if yes than post the fault codes from the engine ECU..........if NO communication than you most likely looking at a faulty ECU..

Also reconfigure the CAN Programing in BCM it looks like you more modules programmed as (Present) than what you have on your vehicle......

That's right. This is a common fault on Corsa C, Meriva , Astra with ECU mounted on engine. Wiring in Ecu is broken or desoldered.I repeared many off them.

When this hepend again try to cool down engine ECU with water (easy only on the alu case of ECU) or cold air. Then try to start. If engine strarting ECU is the issue.

Agreed that's what I told raffy as it seems wrong index as incorrect number of modules hence the fault code

Let me know what variant ecu yours is and part number I have SS SD in stock and other variants.

we also all know exactly what ecu you have if you post numbers

Hello all
The problem started couple of month ago
No bcm have been changed
When the problem present i diagnose
With opcom all modules and all no dtc exept bcm always same fault
And now i reset the bcm and reprogrammed
And read and clear dtc always same faults reappear
Tomorrow i will check bcm socket and ecu socke and the wiring

The last time was 2 days ago i put opcom and enter the engine ecu and connect
I read the fult code no dyc stored
If that what you mean also on transmission and chassi and everything no dtc stored
Only on bcm the fault appeAr
And to be sure i will test again and post result
