ZTAudi  Audi A4 B5 1998 81Kw - Chiptuning
Hello to everyone,

I have Audi A4 B5 1998 which has AFN engine with 81Kw/110hp power. I would like to chiptuning it with 30hp more, and make it 140hp. As I google it, this is the most stable chip for this engine.
At the moment on the car I have ECU with number 038 906 018 S / 0 281 001 721 (don't know which number is the main so i write down two of them) and the car is working perfectly.

I recently bought another ECU with the same number 038 906 018 S / 0 281 001 721 and planned to do the chiptuning on this one. (the first one to keep it like a spare part with original files)

I open it and found the two flash chips which I should replace (1: Bosch 1037356817 HHH721 - 2: Bosch 1037356816 LLL721), and the eeprom for immo because i want to continue using the second ECU (B58253 I/SN)

I can desolder the chips and the eeprom and read them, but there are some questions about the procedure.

1. Which chip should i read, 16 or 17 ?

1. If I send someone the file, he make the tuning, write down on which chip ? (I found that recommended replacement chip is 29F010)

2. Does the replacement chip 29F010 is the same for the 2 current chips ?

3. Does the same tuned file is writing on both chips ?

4. What is the procedure for immo ?

5. Is there someone who would like to make good tuning or already have a file for AFN engine to send it to me ?

Thanks in advance.

For the immo, you mean to read the eeprom from the current ECU and write on the second one ?
Then it will be the same, and any of ECU will work with the car ?

For tune i will desolder the chips, read them, and upload the files, but can you answer me what model of replacement chip should i order it because currently I don't have any chip.
