Hi I had elsawin 4.1 installed with skoda vw audi and seat installed and wanted to update so I uninstalled all with revo uninstaller. I have now installed in this order
setup 4.0
skoda 2012.3
update cd 4.1
next when installing update cd 5.0 I get the following message. See pdf file included
this is on xp sp3 32 bit. elsawin is installed a usb as the hard drive isn't large enough. I hope someone can help me.

Dont install any database from 4.0 skoda becasue system not make convert to sql database. forget skoda or find new skoda database...

If I installed Setup 4.0 then 4.1 and then 5.0 would I be able to install skoda database ?

You have to modify 2 files
rl.C.de-DE.cab
rl.C.de-GB.cab
because it has incomplete one row, give a pm and i will send you both files modified

the latest version for skoda is 2012 right?

I suggest do not install it, nothing new from skoda, the latest version is 2012 !

I have installed dot net framework 4.0 and the update 4.01 which updates both 3,5 and 4.0.
what this did was it progressed further with the 5.0 update. It installed for about two minutes in the dos box but the stopped giving the same report. Help.

I have given up trying to install elsawin 5.0 update. I even installed all xp updates and patches but no good. So thanks for all your help I will have to settle for what I have.

there is 1 more thing you can try... install microsoft SQL 2008
