ZB Number for N54 PPK
I'm looking to flash my 2009 335i coupe with the Performance Power Kit or PPK. I have an MSD81, and I'm aware that I need to flash the correct ZB with WinKFP, read off the .bin, toggle the 4C9C8 bit, and reflash the modified .bin.

I need to locate the correct ZB for my car. My current ZB is 7626382. Browsing through kmm_ATSH.txt suggests that there are 2 compatible PPK ZB numbers 7626436 and 7626448. I can't detect differences between the two. I even constructed .bin files from both numbers and found 451 bytes of difference between the 2, none of which are defined by tunerpro.
What is the correct ZB for my car?

If you have an FSC, you can simply retrofit the power kit in ISTA-P. If you do not have an FSC code, you need to flash the power kit ZB, read it back off the car and modify one value in the .bin, and flash it back. So you can flash the ppk without an FSC, but there are a few extra steps. If you just flash the ppk to the car without fsc, it will run, but it won't make boost. You need to read it off, change the 4C9C8 value from 00 to 01, and flash it back. Then it works.

could you explain this to me in more detail?

or is there anyone who has now managed to get the Powerkit software to run on a 335i with MSD81?
