I have installed Ista+ in my ssd (D\), without making anything different. Just place files there and nothing more.

You can extract to any HDD you want and even move. You just must restart between.

When you need to program with ISTA-D then edit the registry to the right path of SWI-Data.

Hello againhi

thank you for all hints.

Today, I took a look at the registry of my old notebook. There I have an old version of ISTA. I found in 'Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold' the entry 'BMW.Rheingold.Programming.PsdzDataPath'.

Is that the correct entry, which I have to change for SWI-Data?

I can't test moving ista+, because my hdd firmware is broken at the moment. So I have to repair it.

best regards
