Hello to all.

I have install this version and it is working, but not with all cars.

For example, c204 from 2015 works, and others also, but testing a C205 from
2013/14 and i get the error 1.59920.1.

I notice that the problem start because no battery voltage reading, on the table
with Vas5054 or Actia XS i have try to connect to several cars, most of them works
and ask to power on ignition,, but some like C205 simply fail on this step.

On the pass other people have same type of problem with other interfaces like C3 and C4,
but on this case is Passthru, and i have confirm it is working on other models.

Any one have same problem and have solve it ?

Please help me to solve this.

Your problem is not only with w205 but with any euro5 or euro6 car....
Try and with w213 or w222 and so on and you will have the same error,,..
Its a serious bug from daimler and this because you install on 32bit os,,...
Install the xentry passthru on 64bit and you been fine but your actia vci if is the old yellow not supported on 64bit!!..

I have try all models, (listed next), i have only the interface connected to power,
the ones with Error - 1.59920.1 are the models that simply stop on first step.

The good ones have the battery voltage and ask for ignition,,
or they just open DAS.

It looks like that, because if i chose a 204 and try to read the FIN/VIN of the 205
is reads it correct, but the software notice is the wrong series/model and stops.

This prove that there is no problem with Actia or VAS5054 interface, it is only
software problem/bug because the install is on 32bit.

Also Actia software is able to diagnose many units, but not all.

Install the xentry passthru on 64bit and you been fine but your actia vci if is the old yellow not supported on 64bit!!..

That is my problem, at first i did try and install it on 64bit, but than i have problems
with the drivers "Passthru" for Actia XS (old yellow/blue) and also VAS5054.


So i´m stuck, if i stay on 32bit i will not diagnose a lot of models, but if i go 64bit
i have no drivers for my interfaces. (is there any solution for this ?)

Tell me, did you test that models on 64bit version, or there is other people
with the same type of problem only in 32bit ?

The problem as i said is for all euro 5/euro6 cars,, so this problem is for xentry only,, with Das all ok or with Xentry euro4 cars (example w204, w212 and so on)....
For the old actia vci not exist driver for 64bit os...
The vas5054 head supported for 64bit os but not know as passthru device,, me never i use vas head as passthru..
You can use the vas5054a driver from any odis installation and you can try,,..

2 problems that oppose to each other, and you (i) can´t have both at same time...

Maybe we see in short time some correction or a add-on that solve the problem,,,..
do you know if 2016 Passthru version have the same problem ?

Or better, maybe someone figure it out how to correct this problem, sometimes
is a simple thing.

Any way, i´m happy because now i have a tool to work on many Mercedes that i didn´t have
before, my C3 work for around 10 years,, than die.

I installed Xentry 2018/3 passthru (thanks Pesona - all you patch work just fine) over 2016 version on Dell D630, Win7, 32 bit. Adapter is VAS5054. I tested on Sprinter W906, work fine. Good news - that on every start Xentry ask what Passthru adapter to use in this session (no need to install 5 passthru drivers @Sixcode solution@). But from another side - I CRY......, then I read in this topic, that is not posible to diagnostic on any Euro 5 or 6 cars with Passthru adapter on 32 bit system.

Hello Moldovan1, but you can try one thing to verify if works or not,,, just plug
the interface to PC and to 12v power, try to open a 204, chose Diagnostic,
and see it it goes to the point it ask for IGNITION...

With mine it does,, than try to do the same on a C205,, if it gives you the error 1.59920.1
it means that the "problem" is the same on new version, and so it means that
they only support 64bit as announced one Xentry PT page, as other member tell us.

Give a try and report... you can also check other models like i listed above on other message.

Also tell me if the 2016 version is (was) working with C205 or any other models pointed
that give error.

Hello to all,
Can someone guide where to delete/remove some unwanted Pass Thru listed in the drop down when just start Xentry. I've added some by error and don't want to see them there !
