The easy way is to install the xdos on other harddrive and learn xentry, das and hht simulation from there.

please upload your mneco.s file. also try to update all xdos addons. i myself often find that previous release has latest certain files compare to 2018-12.
e.g
2018-09 version has ins2004 file that can offer replacement from ins2004 to ins2010 and ins2014 while 2018-12 offers only replacement from ins2004 to ins2010. someday addons will fix it.

Procedures:

1.Prepare windows sp1 x86 or x64 as an administrator, UAC off.
Notes:
Some windows update since 2018 make drivers conflict especially with windows 7.
You will get:
– an exclamation mark on display adapter hd3000 in device manager
– loosing the monitor from device manager
– a lot of bugs in the NIC card

– Only for XDOS 2017-12 installation in win x86 32bit.

Replace Xentry Diagnostics OpenShell.msi in folder ‘data’

I have a problem with the Xentry Passthrue 12/2018.
I followed everything from step 1-10 and i install my Device from VAS5054A.
If i start the Xentry Diagnosis they give me the report "no access".

But i have to give the keygen.

there are 54 pages here and I just successfully installed XDOS Openshell (full) on a Windows 10 64bit Home edition. I just wanted to share that I had problems with my Xentry start key being invalid and I had to go into the BIOS and disable secure boot and set it to UEFI. After that I was able to input my start key (wifi off just to make sure). I had a hard time finding this fix and is not really prominently posted anywhere but do have scattered mentions of it so sharing again on this thread.

make sure you have disabled secure boot for your version of windows. Google that bit specifc for you device manufacturer, but its straight forward.

The quick way of checking if its on or off is:
'windows key' + R (or start menu > run)
type 'msinfo32'
Hit ok

Look up the secure boot line to see if its on or off.

So simple to do but creates headaches if you don't (talking from experience!)

I too had such a headache trying to figure this out and installed the old xentry keys fix in both 64/32 bit locations just in case but still nothing worked. viola-- turned secure boot off and worked like a charm

I also had another machine that I successfully installed XENTRY Passthru on a Windows 7 32bit VMWARE and used the Toyota xhorse MVCI driver with an ebay J2534 adapter. I was able to communicate to both 2010 W204 and 2017 X156
