Probably he means that previous map was cracked with Darkdll patch and this map doesn't need to be patched one more. In my case I did user defined update and checked all map update and later on have to update with user update firmware gemmi and map styles to activate Google Earth. After this all works OK traffic online also

Activator will always be the same, so if you have activated once, you can apply any map from audi and don't need to activate again, until you put new firmware on it. then you have to put in again activator.
Audi has to pay hb much money to make new firmware for 3G and 3GP with completely new mechanism and also have to make a check on odis on which firmware unit is. this costs much $$$ and audi don't sell anymore these units in the cars. so audi don't will change anymore anything on these units so the activator will stay maybe for forever. also firmware k942/or soon k1001 will stay forever as last update If my answer helped to fix anything, then don't forget to give me some rep please!

Proven 3G Plus map, already activated, I simply reinstalled over the previous map using "user defined mode". Everything working properly, with a lot of new roads =) Updated map mirrors list in first post, including torrent option. |
