I know the next version is probably not too far away, but I thought I'd go for this map update today.

Updated my 2011 Q5 unit (firmware version HNav_EU_K0257_6_D2) from ECE 6.25.3 to ECE 6.26.1 without any issue. No need for any activation, but I did need to go into VCDS and clear the software error.

I try first and update the firmware for my A6 from HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1 to HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1 and was going fast and smooth.
At end, I have checked with VCDS and I get some errors. 03276 I solved and this one:

Next day, error 02076 was possible to reset. I think was initialization problem.
I continue with map update and finalize well with full version of map on 64GB SD (93MB/s) card SanDisk. Done from Engineering menu, Standard mode without delete old map.
It tooks 2.5 hours. I try first use FSC activation, done but didn't activate anything.
I struggle then to remove FSC. The tool "FSC Removal.zip" was not running at all. The script inside is not OK. I tried more versions and all are the same. I try correct the script because there was some syntax error but still was not running
Finally I test "FSC Removal (Fix 03623 Fault).zip", runs well and remove all FSC from inside. It have the Russian version script.
Then I used the script "_MMI3GH_ACT.zip" for activation as @bivolalex and finally get activated. I think this script is as version of @DarkDll, just the one of @DarkDll is better explained and arranged for easy reading.

Can I activate "HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1" with the activator for "HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1". It's an Audi A6 3GH. I'm not sure if I want to upgrade the software myself, "HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1" upgrade was done by a dealer. I've searched this thread and found that one user is on the same "HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1" and managed to activate the map with "HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1" activator.

It's my first time activating a map, so I want to be sure...
