Login and password are this same as clone one?

If its a real one than yeah clone should use the same login and password as the real ones... as for the firmware you should be able to find it on this site with instructions to update it. Just search.

i got scammed with one of these turns out it a allscanner a3 clone

i can not get it to connect to ista/p or d

though it is detected as icom by software but says failed to detect vin of car

anyone any ideas what to do i all ready got a refund from seller so willing to try anything

I sent mine back and got a refund. Then bought one of the older clones, the orange and black ones. Worked first go. Could never get the next clone to work. They keep on insisting it would work with their software but i tried the same version and no luck. I would try the easyconnect software and see if you have any luck but pretty sure it's doesn't work for insta/p.

For those with the Icom Next clone with VCXDoIP:
It's a very powerful tool that can emulate all sorts of diag hardware for BMW, VAG, GM, BENZ, Porsche, ...
No need for DHCP server or router, it's build in.

- Firmware update 1.49 available via VXManager.

- For connection with ista-p you need to download BMW ptt driver from VXDiag, start Pass-Thru app in VXManager and emulate by loading dll. Make sure its set to SAEJ2534

- For connection with ista-d you need to set connect via icom/ethernet local network in ista settings.
If your license is valid you can also use cloud software

- For connection E-sys sometimes ZGW is not detected on first try, select connect via icom/ethernet tcp://<icom ip adress>:50160 than close connection. Now ZGW is available and connection can be made via vin or gateway url.
