Has something changed in this vs previous version? I'm getting: "the vehicle could not be identified. please check the access to the vehicle." I made a new clean install. INPA and ISTA-P work just fine on that laptop, but ISTA+ doesn't. I've checked the ediabas.ini in c:\Ediabas and in Rheingold\Ediabas.

It seems so, because I restored my previous win10 and updated ISTA in that and it works as it used to. I want clean install because that version has some issues due to windows updates.

Clean win10 x64 pro install (format hdd before install)
Installed standard tools 2.12
jre-8u161-windows both (x86 and x64)
vcredist 2005-2017 (x86 and x64)
vs90_piaredist
net framework 3.5 including 3.0 and 2.0 an (win 10 x64 fall creators update comes with net framework 4.7 preinstalled, so can't install 4.5.2, 4.6.1, 4.6.2).
run ISTA-D Reg Fix x64

Since INPA works, I assume the drivers and com port are OK. ISTA VCI is set to Ediabas. Used 7zip 16.04 to unpack, unblocked archives before using 7zip. Anyone got any ideas what to check next?
