Here's an online tool I've made for decoding the unlock code for a certain era of Alfa Romeos. The unlock code needs to be entered so that new keys can operate the remote central locking.


If anyone has any information on the mapping of other chips and they want it in an online tool. Let me know, it should be possible to support those very easily.

Interesting, the count for the number of keys looks to be 0 on this one. I've manually changed it so that it'll decode what looks like 2 keys. The codes are:

Unlock Code 0: 1127
Unlock Code 1: 2162

Give that a go and let me know how you get on.

I think this is not same thing as older alfa's. It is not immo related it is like for example in alfa 156 remote receiver box with HC05B16 mcu, it just have it's own pin code (other from immo pin code) which needs to be enetered to program new or resycn old remote

The decoder is purely to operate the remote central locking and the alarm (if fitted). The immobiliser is taken care of by a different box of tricks and the transponder in the key.

I've added a few more details on how to dump the EEPROM with some pictures of the PCB just incase it is suitable for other cars.

@fisekovic - it also includes instructions for unlocking the memory. Those codes I gave you are for that.
