CAN network Issue (No 60 ohm)
I got renault fluence, i got error reading by can clip of CAN network problem.
So i measure the voltage between can high and ground and can low and ground, they were good about 2.3 and 2.6 volt - voltage between can high and can low also good about 1.9v ..... but resistance between can high and can low from obd2 port and i found it is open circuit and there is no 120 ohm or 60 ohm. Can i put 60 ohm resistor in the wires of obd2 port or i have to install 2x 120 ohm resistore in the two edges of CAN netwrk ? How can i know the edges ? |

RE: CAN network Issue (No 60 ohm)
Could be a open circuit in the can lines, there should be 2 nodes in your car with each 120 ohm across the can lines - you can check all nodes for their can lines resistance - often ABS and ecu or bodycomputer but this will depend on the structure of your car.....
