XZBMW  RE: E90 K-Can bus fault - Help needed understand and resolve bus fault
Hello Everyone,
I didn't opened a new topic because my problems are very are almost exactly the same.

My BMW e91lci Wagon, 330d (245) 2008y. from time to time while I am driving,  some strange issue appearing- all dashboard, clusters are going crazy for few seconds, on the display I can see "Electronic Fault Message" and than everything is coming back to "normal".

I used carly to see what kind of error codes were generated and its a full list of errors from almost each modules ( file attached).

The only one thing that doesn't work in my car is rear viper.

I have read about the trunk water problem - but I checked and there is nothing wrong, also I did a battery test and its showing from around 13,80v - 14,50v.

Ehhh, can someone help me out with this issue ? Maybe Jukebox is damaged or maybe the rear viper is causing this issues?

BTW. I tried to clear all codes - but they are immediately showing again, a bit less but they are still there, so I believe there are some continous problem with one of the modules, or cables??

Thank you very much in advance,
best gynox.

RE: E90 K-Can bus fault - Help needed understand and resolve bus fault
K-Can fault. You need an oscilloscope if you can get one.

1. Go to the back of your car and open up the passive go module, check for water ingress.

Also check your back lights for any signs of water. Next check the FRM area again for any signs of water, lastly the floor carpet.

If you cant find any water then next step is isolation. Disconnect ALL modules i.e FRM, Passive go, FZD, PDC, CIC e.t.c except CAS and JBBF. Rescan. If no can fault, start reconnecting them one by one, scanning each tine you reconnect a unit, until the can fault returns. Get wiring diagram for the CAN bus and start reconnecting units nearest to the JBBF until fault returns.
