Hey guys i am new here
does anyone know where a problem with vanos begin in s85 engine? i changed all vanos and still the engine dont sounds pretty well and i ve changed the whole electronics parts any clue ? anyone ? |

It starts with hp oil pump in oilpan. Before changing anything, measure oil pressure at vanos inlet oil. On idle with hot oil should be 110-120bar. If below 100 then replace hpop.
Also vanos solenoids. vanos units themself don't broke that often. bad news for you is vanos solenoids price now is almost 900usd per piece and you need 4. 5 years ago they costed200 usd per piece hehe |

You need to replace line from pump to top of the engine ...common problem
Line as braided , If you apply air pressure on input of line you can see bubbles coming out... |
