How to update the software of iDrive (F31 2014)
Hello guys
 I want to update the software of my iDrive (EntryNav) from F31 2014. I have downloaded a binary file from: https://www.bmw.com/content/bmw/marketBM...dates.html and I put it in a USB Stick (formated FAT32), but the file is not recognized by the iDrive. The filename is: UPD07012.bin How can I do? |

I use Samsung Galaxy S5 and is working fine.
I don't have problems with the Bluetooth. I can speak to my phone, I can see the contacts, etc. Just I want to update for me only... |

Make sure you are putting the flash/thumb drive in the armrest not the glovebox.
As this gets updated via the media port. |

I don't have other USB port. Only in the armest
 So, the binary file based to my VIN downloaded from the ofiicial webiste doesn't working anymore

Use ista/p to update it
but you must update gateway fem too |
