A4 B5 MCU Cluster transfer
Hi,
can someone answer me if I can swap HC08 MCU if mask is the same? Both are A4 B5 clusters from Jaeger. |

Software version is same? You have Stickers with V7.xx on MCU
must be same Version or 912 maybe not work with it. And if you swap 912 you need to adapt immo and keys because is stored in 912 |

Why you want swap HC08? This you only touch if dash have problems. You want change Dash? Think only work if you swap both mcu´s there are too many different Software Versions for HC08 (V7.94ML, V7.94HL, V8.35ML, V8.42ML, V8.51ML, V8.55ML, V8.58ML, V8.40HL, V8.42HL, V8.51HL, V8.53HL, V8.55HL,
V8.58HL, V7.66ML, V7.66HL, V7.95ML, V7.95HL, V7.91ML, V7.92ML, V7.91HL, V7.92HL, V8.40HL, V7.47ML, V7.48ML, V7.49ML, V7.4cML, V7.64ML, V7.4DML, V7.65ML, V7.82ML, V7.47HL, V7.62HL, V7.48HL, V7.49HL, V7.4cHL, V7.64HL, V7.4dHL, V7.65HL, V7.82HL). Next is on this dashes there are 2 versions of gauges for fuel mounted. if Dash is not exactly the same needles maybe work wrong. Look on codecard site or search for Carprog 2j74y repair. " If everything is OK, just fuel gauge works in reverse – incorrect part (cluster) is installed in car. In Audi can be used 2 kind of fuel level meters – normal and reverse. Then fuel is empty one dash can show “0”, other “full”. This fault usually appears when you swapping instrument clusters. Is not possible to adapt fuel gauge type by ODB2, you must exchange instrument cluster." Easiest way is put new dash in car look if fuel gauge is ok -> find anyone with Orange5 Carprog or other programm which can read eeprom of hc912dg128 (just 4 wires needed to PCB) -> read eeprom of both dashes -> get login out from both -> make mileage in dump for new dash -> write new dump and adapt ecu and keys by diagnostic. And be carefully on mileage it is with CRC normaly  and with wrong calc you get 999.999km If you upload both dumps we can help you on login and mileage

Things changed. I have a carprog now. So i am able to write read/write flash without having flash dump =) how can i read 912 with carprog? |
