Delete battery registration entry
Hello ,
there are tons of threads and youtube videos on how to register a new battery , and we've been doing it for years already for Exx and Fxx . today I came a cross a new topic which I've not seen anyone talked about it before. BMW E91 with original 90A battery and auto start/stop option, the owner had big sepakers and 2 subwoofers sound system and Xenon fog lights installed so he wanted to change the battery and upgrade to a bigger one at the same time . he ordered 110A Varta AGM battery , we did battery amp change then complete car coding , then we did new battery registration and everything went smooth . after 3 days he called and complaining about auto start/stop never works again after the new battery. we spent half day testing and trying different scenarios and we did compare with another E81 car with auto start/stop . in many scenarios the E81 switch off the engine while the E91 stays up and running . then we decided to swap with the old battery , and immediately the auto start/stop works again. my question is not about what could be the problem , it could be many things . my question now is , is there procedure to delete the new battery registration. ? |

RE: Delete battery registration entry
There is no such available battery
for bmw e91 (group e89) there are only such E B046 BATT_46AH //46 Ah-Batterie E B055 BATT_55AH //55 Ah-Batterie E B070 BATT_70AH //70 Ah-Batterie E B080 BATT_80AH //80 Ah-Batterie E B090 BATT_90AH //90 Ah-Batterie E A070 BATT_AGM_70AH //70 Ah-AGM Batterie E A080 BATT_AGM_80AH //80 Ah-AGM Batterie E A090 BATT_AGM_90AH //90 Ah-AGM Batterie the largest one is the AGM 90ah NCS (A090) how you set this value to -A090 will be all right it would be better to buy AGM 100Ah and set it to -A090 it will be slower to charge but it will do the trick as in CAS set to B110 it will be a BSD problem for DDE / DME which controls the start / stop system must be a valid value of -A090 only the available value is the value of A105 in the e70 group AGM 105 because the same CAS3 is in e70 because in ncs dummy there is such a value (there is no A110) but for the E89 group this value is not correct The battery replacement entry can not be deleted just like you would have a soft read by the tuner eg galletto it would probably restore all data from the reading day of the flash If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button!

RE: Delete battery registration entry
In e91 CAS3 it is possible to encode AGM 105Ah
through the NCS man file, but the BSD system may work badly because the maximum value for the group e89 (e91) is AGM 90ah BMW e91 CAS3 (AGM 90Ah) Sp-daten/E89/Daten / If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button!
