XZBMW  NBT E60 retrofit issues
Hi all.

I bought an NBT retrofit from Bimmer retrofit 4 years ago, im having some issues that i really want to get fixed.
1st issue is language going back to Deutsche, not a bil deal but annoying since i don't speak it.
2nd and this is only happening with my other key sound level and audio source resets, and language.
Im not sure why there is a different with keys.
Bimmer retrofit is telling me i need new software however it was updatet by BMW a year before i got the retrofit so it was at E060-12-11-500 and i updatet it to 14-11-500
I have VO coded 609 and production date 09\09, i even tried 03\10 but problem it still there.
Also tried FDL coding NBT unit setting master language to english_UK and IBA to nicht_aktiv
Anyone out there have any ideas? I was wondering if i should try to flash the NBT but im not sure if i will loose any functions?

Istep or VO coding of the car in E60 has no relationship to a NBT retrofit
If you are having issues, either emulator firmware or FDL coding of the NBT.

I wanna blame the emulator but i have no idea how i can verify that it's causing my problems, i have newest firmware from Bimmer retrofit, and i have tried different ones.
Only thing Bimmer retrofit is telling me is KOMBI code 609 and 09\09 production date, so no help from there dontknow
Any other options i should check while FDL coding?

RE: NBT E60 retrofit issues
Seems like NCS is having difficulties coding my LMA module, i wonder if the problem can be there? Can't read or write to it, "Der Codierenindex folgender Steuergerate ist fur diesen codierauftrag nicht zulassig: LMA 14
Maybe this one is acting up? Any tips?

RE: NBT E60 retrofit issues
It means you have just lm1, but when you change time criterion to 2009, it expects lm2, so change your VO same as you have, but return time criterion to 2004something for example 2004/9 as it should be and LM will be coded without problem.

you don't need to save your VO for coding smile

RE: NBT E60 retrofit issues
Oh I see, so that's not causing the problem either, where is the key profile stored?
