I’m looking to buy ODIS and VAS to remove component protection on Audi and Volksvagen cars. Now I know that for this I need GEKO account. Can somebody advise me whether clone of VAS5054a would work with online account or does it need original VAS. Also what are the cost of online access (hourly, daily , monthly or yearly) ? I have been using ODIS -S with a china clone version of VAS5054 mainly for reading and clearing trouble codes and some simple coding so know the basics. Recently looking to update component firmware and removal of CP. I understand that for this with ODIS-S you need online access and with ODIS-E I could do it offline. Could somebody advise the process of this i.e. how the SVM codes are generated, please ?

Who told you that you can do it with odis-e offline? Thats not true. Only online. Offline only with abritess

Where are you located?

ODIS-E can flash ECU off line - providing you have the correct flash file
SVM and CP is online only
