I read posts and do I understand? - that if you change CID of new SD card with new map to your old CID card, it will work without activation ?

RMC have FSC also.
So CID clone and old map might work if your system have the FSC for the map,
otherwise no.

Yes it should be fine. P versions are what comes loaded from the factory when the car is built.

There is a new version available to superceed this one but I have not seen for download yet.

ODIS is required with online connection to Audi server but you also require to buy SD Card and activation codes from dealer. That part alone is around 400 EURO and then cost to have activation via ODIS.

I've been reading a lot on this topic. I have a hw40 unit with 0530 FW on it. It is a RMC unit. I can't find any info on the updates. I do see more people with same issue but no solution.

Anybody knows what firmware would be suitable for these RMC units, beeing not RMC2 or RMC4 ?
