Hi all,

I have some questions about ECU flashing (with KESS V2).
I have an AUDI A3 8P 2003 Model yr. 2004. I saw some used but original Engine ECU's on ebay and I want to know if there is a possiblility to create a backup file from my current engine ECU and then I just want to copy it on the used "new" engine ECU. The question is if the immobilizer will be copied as well or is it not stored on this part of the ECU? Or do I have to copy the immobilizer data separately?
Thanks for helping me. I will use KESS V2. FYI I'm a mechanic and I'm trying out everything. My plan is to make a chip tuning (or some changes) by myself but not with my current engine ECU. This is why I want a second ECU, to try out.

First of all need to know what ecu you have there
and what dashboard also
so,kess for edc15-edc16 will read only partial ecu
for edc15 need to read flash and eeprom with programmer
for edc16 need to read bdm full...eeprom and flash
then you can play with other ecu to clone it
