Original FVDI
I know this has been asked before but cant get exact answer to my question;
Firstly how dependable is the original fvdi by flyobd, are there many functions unavailable? Has anyone a good source to ourchase one as the one on the flyobd website says its on subscription basis only and soild be shut down if flashed? |

There is no such thing as "original FVDI" , every FVDI is AVDI clone, i have old FVDI from fly and it works ok, good value for money these days. for newer subscription based and updatable i don't know but i think it is not worth it.
Also fvdi from others like fvdiobd, also called fly FVDI clone, and simillar is reported to work ok (old version)  |

All fvdi in market are same , from fly and others all are same rubbish

Are there any limitations of the older one? i did not said it is better, i just said it is better VALUE for money. i don't know what you plan to do with it, old fvdi is good for VAG group to MQB platform (something like to 2012 year) keys and km, also Fiat keys and km is ok, renault km and keys/cars for scenic2/megane2/laguna2 etc.... it is bad for Benz and BMW...use search there are a lot of threads about it. |
