Recently Lynxbmw kindly gave me the service history for my car (attached).

In it there is a note of an open technical campaign 10011450400.

"F1x F2x F3x B47 programming
control units and if necessary,
replacing the EGR valve"

The car is second hand so I don't know if this has been done. If it is open does this still need to be done?

The car isn't due to be serviced for a while so I don't want to drag it to the dealers to have it done separately so is there a way of finding out what this campaign is? I have tried unsuccessfully to find any details on it. Where can I find these details apart from the dealer?

Try going to your dealer and show him the paper.
