I hve a problem hopefully someone can help me figure out. On my e60 04 I’m having issues connecting to the LMA module via ncsexpert. When reading I get the following error from photos attached. My datens are all up to date and I can code any other
Module no problem, I even connect to my buddies lma module no problem e60 same year. I’ve never had any issues Coding this module in the past and I have not done anything reciently that could have caused this that I can think of. I do have a blinking green light due to adaptive issue but that’s been out for years and I’ve connected to the lma module many times with that issue so it can’t be that. Lights work just fine, just mentioned only errors I get are from the adaptive but it’s been like that for years.

Odd thing, I have the .man and .trc file empty, but when I get that error I do see it reads as I open the .trc file and it had all the lma strings like it read it. Tried it with 2 other computer I have with same software I’ve used in the past to code this vehicle same issue.

It’s not the most important issue in the world just wondering why it would be doing it. Any helps appreciated.

This is becouse in VO date is #0909 and that mean LM2 but in Car is LM1(LMA.14).
Edit VO date to your car orig.date(from 2004) and then all will be fine!

Yep that was the issue! Thanks, I just thought I have coded it after my retrofit didn’t think to change the build date for the lma Coding! Solved!
