Replacing a module with a brand new superseded version
I need to replace a module in my car however the original is now discontinued and so I have the latest superseded version that is brand new and supplied by BMW,
however when trying to install with ISTA+ the measures plan tells me that I must replace the module with one of the original part number, this is obviously not an option because the original is no longer available. so what steps do I need to take here,? Thanks |

I think you ordered the wrong number or incorrect vo.

Totally different numbers / parts. The first number is also still in production.

Both are Kafas2 and the new one is exhangeable retrospectively

No you are wrong. You need the first part #. Show your dealer the first picture.
There is no cross fit. |

I have had this problem many times, many bmw dealers have no idea or they are not trained properly.
