K+D-can not working with E46
Just installed a fresh copy of ISTA-D 4.09 and the corresponding ISTA-P. Installed according to the manual. Als installed standard tools. INPA sees the car and I can check various components. However, i cannot get ISTA-D and ISTA-P to work. Comport is currently at com 9, but also tried com 1 and com 3. Latency is set to 1.
What can i do to get ISTA-D to work with the cable? It has always worked, but just re-installed my laptop. |

Does your KDCAN have a Kline switch? If it does not you can forget connecting to an E46.

Ok, just an update on this... Stupid me... It was the switch after all... Pin7+8 problem. Now everything is working like a charm.

There goes!! You learn a new thing everyday. Interesting that INPA works but ISTA insists on correct cable pin out.
