Hello all,


Today I tried to set up my icom next clone to work with ediabas. I runned Itool radar to find the ip adres from the device. Itool radar showed me 169.254.92.38.

The tutorial I used told me to give that ip into my browser and set this ip to static in the GUI from the ICOM Next. I also had to press reserve into the itool radar tool which I did. Also I edited my ediabas.ini and could connect to dr.Gini with succes. But when I disconnected everything I simply cannot connect anymore and also Itool radar doesnt show me the device anymore.
I already tried to connect with it by placing a router between my pc and the ICOM and configured the router in the range: 169.254.92.30 till 169.254.92.100 with subnetmask 255.255.0.0 but still I cannot even ping the ICOM.
Does anyone knows what I did wrong or what I can do to fix my isue? A factory reset perhaps?

Restore icom to the original settings
(you can use the button to restore factory settings
DHCP, IP 169.254.92.38

Do not change anything on the network card
it has to automatically assign an address
icom A2 (clone next)
edit ediabas.ini (C: \ EDIABAS / BIN /)
Interface=REMOTE
[TCP]
;=============================================================================
RemoteHost =169.254.92.38
Port =6801


so many settings
itoolradar
icom reservation
and you will be connected

If you have EDIABAS730.msi
then do not use easyconnect

Just as you have the full standard 2.12 installed tools you can use
EasyConnect
