Guys,

I'm having problems trying to initialize the Xenon TMS Modules in a 2013 f10, I have read the modules in tool32 & they show up as part no. 7316187 which according to ETK is only for f30 but on ebay you can find f10 TMS modules with the same part number.

Initialization always fails in ISTA & I have coded the FRM also.

Is there a way to force initialize the TMS at all.

I have fighting the same issue check part number on TMS and look in ETK. If ETK says not suitable for F10 then I am afraid you never get them working.

Yes, part number shows for f30, f10 part number is 7355073.

I have even set TMS_ID Left & right to 00, 00 hoping it would help but they still fail

Would it make a difference that they are left hand drive lights in a right hand drive car?

How did you set TMS ? tool32 ? what argumment ?

I set TMS ID in FRM with esys, part no shows in tool32 as 7316187 which shows only for f30 in ETK, however, I fitted another set of uk lights last week which had the same part no’s on a pre LCI car but they didn’t need initialising as they were working so I didn’t try in case it disabled them.

Check in Esys, you may have TMS modules on coding list.
Inject CAFD in TMS, then code it.

Next run ISTA, and initialize headlamps

There’s no TMS listed in esys with standard xenons they get coded when you Code the frm, only adaptive xenons & LEDs show up as individual modules

That was my thinking, I am looking for new modules, would the fact that they are left hand drive headlights make a difference?
