I made a bench setup with zgw 1 high 2010 and kl15 emulator.I want to hook up 6wb and eventually cas unit. I got connection to the zgw with esys and inpa, no problem. Yesterday i hooked up the cas (kcan2) and could see cas unit in SVK. also could talk to it in tool32. Problem was, cas always switches off kl15 as soon as i connect it. I can solve that by reconnecting kl15 emulator. After that i tried to hook up 6wb. Connected to ptcan pin 1 & 2 (solely for kombi). But i can't get connection to it no matter what i do. as soon as i connect kl15 emulator the 6wb powers up, but can't get connection to it, not with esys, inpa nor tool32. I tried to flash zgw, went fine but now i even cannot connect to cas anymore. Connection to zgw still is fine.
Main thing i want to do is preprogram cas before 6wb installation. Got 2 defective 6wb units here and for repairing them and testing i want to do it on the bench with pre programmed cas instead of my car.
Do you have any idea what i could do?

Okay maybe for the cas, but without cas and with ignition emulator i should be able to diagnose 6wb? Cause cluster turns on when i enable ignition emulator, so routing internally in zgw from kcan 2 to ptcan cluster is okay cause it sends ignition on can message to instrumentcluster.

What sort of diagnostic you want to carry out? Just to see full LCD working ZGW should be enough. Obviously you can't do a full diagnostic because of other missing modules

Actually i want to connect it to cas programmed with vin and odo of the car. I've got one cluster here that had eeprom error. Everytime i connect it to the car odo jumps 5 km up. After repair i want to check this on bench, if manipulation dot is gone and eeprom works as it should. Don't want to do this in customer car.
What module would the cluster need to get connected with inpa or tool32?
Is correct coded VCM needed? Or would tool32 connect to it without correct vcm?

Afaik gateway for cluster is the headunit.
so you need a headunit to reach the cluster via esys or tool32

No, according to wiring diagram the instrument cluster is wired directly to zgw without any other nodes. I think i really need a working cas with key to get this working.

And coding is done via most, at least when the cluster has most connector

Cluster has most and ptcan, but i wired most also to zgw (zgw is most master on pre nbt) but no responce.

Use bloody head unit as gateway for cluster.
