e60 mask system should be ccc professional.
would anyone be able to help me with what parts, apart from the display, headunit and idrive, what parts need to be able to make retrofit successfully?

No parts needed.. Replace mask witch ccc and put two extra cables power 12v and ground for the fan behind the ccc unit. Put all cables in the ccc unit and screen..

You need also to change your car VO. Remove $606 from VO and add $609 for navi professional write this to CAS and LMA module. After that code your CCC (CAPPL). Thats all.

I have read this post multiple times but i'm sorry, I do not understand at all what you mean. Can you explain again please?

You also need to turn you screen cable in order to make it fit in to the CCC screen output.

if you don't have navigation now, than you will need gPS antena, you can order some from ebay, around 7-10$, small cube shaped with magnet, enought long to install in C pillar of car. works like a charm

CCC screen (CID) wire is also different than mask white plug. You can simply cut off white plastic from the plug and connect it to CCC unit (cheap solution). I'm not sure if other pin matches, need to check wire diagrams but it works for sure (at least lcd display).

1. Cover, dashboard, poplar, center
2. Universal pin terminal uncoded for Electric fan when it´s not mounted
3. GPS Antena if not mounted
