Hello All,

Im planning to retrofit a 6WB cluster to a F33 428i, but I would like to be 100% sure thats possible:

Car Vin: P781362
Car came with HU-Entry

This is the cluster:

But the cluster is for a LCI car, so the main questions are:

1. Would be possible to do this retrofit?
2. If its possible, should I use a FA from a F33 LCI with MMYY >= 0616 to code the cluster to the car?

thanks litani, did you use a MOST cable from the KOMBI to the head unit? or a loop cable?
How was the coding?

Yes, you need MOST cable from KOMBI to HU.

I always flash whole car prior to 6WB or 6WA, add fibre optic loom and coding, then flash new cluster and code it again.

Do I need to create a modified VO to flash the kombi? Im asking that because the kombi does not fit the actual car based on the ETK.

You need add to VO. In eeprom need change VIN, km 0, then inject cadaf, flashing and in the and coding. Also for flashing kombi you will need enet wire. Oh I see it’s new kombi. No need to touch eeprom.
