I doubt that it comes only with bumper.

In realoem i did not find it neither for my chasis F25 or F30 and few others.

Any help would be really appreciated.

thanks

i am planning to do the retrofit for the 5DP on my F25
i buy the PMA from the net and i will buy the 2 sensors from the market localy
please if you can share the pin configuration from PDC to PMA

thanks in advance

check with istad or google newtis for find SSP.
if i remember, PDC sensor is same wiring, you only need wire new PMA sensors to PMA module.

RE: [Help] Parking Assist retrofit - 5DP
the easy part is to buy the PMA module and the PMA sensors.
the PMA holders from the bumper is the hardest part - i invested a lot in finding the PMA holders for sensors but without success. I dont know if the holders are coming only with a new bumper fitted for $5DP
I ordered a PDC repair kit for 4'er but the holders are not the same as they are on a factory fitted F25.

Yesterday i received the holders for a skoda superb and it seems they are ok - with small adaptations.

i did not manage to find the PMA holders even I called the 2 BMW dealers.

are you using a new bumper with 5DP or are you going to drill the holes?

Hi

i will drill the holes , I am locking for the holders to and thanks for the hint to use Skoda one the WAG dealers are more flexible then the BMW one
for the pins they are different from the PDC it’s not plug and play

I will finalize the correspondence table and I will share it :

Thanks for your advice and don’t hesitate to correct me

RE: [Help] Parking Assist retrofit - 5DP
bad news - skoda holders are a bit large (~+0,2mm) than the sensor with the rubber.
I struggled 2h to adapt it but no chances.

therefore, as I spent already too much time in finding the proper holder, i will use the one from the PDC repair kit - like the 2 ones from here - http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x189/...0Parts.jpg

RE: [Help] Parking Assist retrofit - 5DP
Managed to get 5DP working. it was a lot of effort, mainly on bumper mounting/dismounting (in 1 person) and getting the 2 cables from the sensors via car firewall.
I lost a lot of time on these 2 main issues. the rest, is piece of cake.

some pictures with the firewall grommet are here. this grommet is under glovebox and behind of the JBBF module(i think it is jbbf).

that repair PDC kit was bought from ebay but it can be bought from BMW dealer with above PN.

as a conclusion - it is working fine in its limits, but I think i would not do this again alone smile
