CBS oil change reminder doesn’t remember reset value
Hi, I’ve a strange issue where the CBS oil change reminder will revert back to the old value when the car is switch on from cold. I can do a reset fine and the reminder will be changed to a future date (something like 1 year later), but whenever I lock the car and let it shutdown, the CBS value will change back to the “old date” and therefore it is very annoying the car always reminds me the oil change service is due.
I used kombi’s normal reset and ISTA CBS reset service service function but both doesn’t work. This is strange, anyone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

First thing to do is ensure that I-Level of KOMBI is updated. |

Indeed I've some extra mods which hook on the FEM's can connection. I will check the cables. On a separate note as you mentioned about FEM, my current I-Level for FEM is out-sync (older) than the rest of the modules. Would that be the reason? I refused to update FEM as you can no longer change the triple single turn blinks in recent firmwares and even it is out-sync there is no error in ISTA whatsoever. I also thought FEM has nothing to do with CBS so it didn't raise my attention at all. |
